Re: Cat lesson, learned

Mine didn't come with instructions - not for my Bravada, not for my '99 and not for my '02. And not one has had any problems without a break-in procedure. Oh, and none came with any instructions, either.

Re: 95 intermittent bogging/backfiring/power loss

Ultra black goo comes with the lower intake set; that's what you use on the ends.

Re: Where do these vacuum lines go?

It's a reservoir. So if your engine isn't making good vacuum, like under heavy load, you still have vacuum for vacuum-run accessories.

Re: What have you done to/with your van today?

Um, I think that's more of a fart

Got the air compressor out of the back of mine. Daughter's boyfriend came over and got it down into the basement with no trouble. For a tall, skinny kid, he's pretty damned strong.

Re: Show Us Your Tools!

In place, electrics hooked up, 20 min break-in run done. My husband's going to build a baffle for the intake - most of the noise - and we need to hook up the air line when the above 2-stage filter and regulator come in.

Definitely.

I should have on my '02, but I was pressed for time. Now I'll have to do it another weekend.

Re: Overheating in Death Valley, please help

I installed a severe duty fan clutch from my LAPS when I towed my Jeep home. Never even got close to overheating on any grade.

Then again, I have the stock bumper and fan shrouds...

Re: Show Us Your Tools!

Leeann do yourself a HUGE favor and throw that HF piece of **** away. The plastic bowls crack immediately. I epoxied mine and then it leaked from every other spot. I installed 6 of those in my shop. Not one worked a few months later. Get something with a trusted reputation. Spend $150 on something ...

Re: Show Us Your Tools!

I had bought this years ago, but we never got around to installing it. We will now, but won't install the oiler (we do blow paint here and there). My husband has another filter 'somewhere' so we'll install that on the output side. Can't believe I remembered I'd bought it - it's been in a Rubbermaid ...

Re: What have you done to/with your van today?

Drove it to Home Depot and picked up the new air compressor.

One of the two loaders says, you need a pickup, ma'am.
Then they throw the thing into the back with the seat folded down and slid up as far as it would go, and he said well, maybe not.

Re: Another Long Shot...

On a 2000, you have Daytime Running Lights. They will be on whenever the van is running. It is a safety feature, actually required in Canada and on certain roadways/highways/bridges in the USA. Also, if you have a little black nubby on the right side of your defroster vent, you also have automatic h...
