Re: Replacing Spider Fuel Injector or regulator step by step

I had a very, very slightly used AC Delco. I'd recommend that or Delphi.

Re: Replacing Spider Fuel Injector or regulator step by step

It's not that hard. Take your time, take lots of pics, mark everything you take off.

Re: Replacing Spider Fuel Injector or regulator step by step

I have pictures and descriptions here, starting about halfway down the page: http://www.astrosafari.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15422&start=240 You do not touch the AC lines or compressor. You also don't unscrew the end of the cruise control cable - there's a plastic c-clip you press on a piece ...

Re: Night backlighting FAIL

Good!

Sorry you took the trip for nothing, but I'd assumed you'd pulled the swith to test it (I know, I know...).

Re: Night backlighting FAIL

Those switches do frequently fail. Sometimes you can rescuscitate one for a while by squirting contact cleaner in there and working it, but most of the time you need a new one.

Could you elaborate on this, please?

He had a lot of trouble with the '99 and up AWD. Most people, myself included, have not. It just works. But not, it seems, if you want to spin your wheels in soft sand a lot.

Re: 95 intermittent bogging/backfiring/power loss

Hey, I could dream, right?

You know you love the van. A V8 would make you love it even more. It's perfect for camping, for hauling whatever needs hauling (like Girl Scout cookies), it's fun to drive...and the V8 would make it more so.

Re: CONVERSION VAN BUCKET SEATS

I have factory rear buckets in the front of my '02.

Conversion van buckets probably are bolted in on a different pattern than the factory. They might not work without some drilling, though.

Re: 95 intermittent bogging/backfiring/power loss

Thanks! When did old happen? Wasn't long ago this would have been an afternoon's project. I don't move like I once did. I came inside and never did go to the FLAPS for the hose and the rear compressor seals/refrigerant. If I'm on a roll, I might as well roll with it and see about getting the AC wor...
