Re: Long crank time

Re set the computer. If you do that and it fires right up you know it is a sensor getting weak. And the short term memory is wrong compensating for the sensor.

Re: Does such an Astro exist?

I knew a girl with a astro and no A/C. LT though? Said LT on the dash. I never checked her paperwork tho. I did look under the hood. I gave her a turn signal lens because she hit a deer and broke hers. It was hot summer and I ask why she was riding with the windows down. Was her A/C broke? She said...

Re: What have you done with your other vehicles today.

What we take for granted like a trip to the store can mean a great deal to someone who can't get out at will. Nice job on the boat CM. Yea we had a good time. We went to home depot and got a toilet valve for him and I put it in. He said he was so happy to get out and just do something "He want...

Re: Should I avoid passenger vans without rear A/C?

I will never buy a vehicle without A/C, EVER, with few exceptions (A 1970 Chevelle 454SS LS6 is one of those exceptions). I have had 30 something chevelles in my life. I would never have another without air. I went through major changes getting air in the one I got now. I paid major money for a El ...

Re: What have you done with your other vehicles today.

I have been doing like I said I was. Cleaning and buffing the turd. Pressure washed the cockpit and bow covers. Defunked the interior some. Seems mildew is a issue with boats seeing as how the hold always has water in it. Pressure washed the trailer and boat. Now sitting and color sanding and buffin...

Re: Quick Rant

I had to fix Dads firechicken after they got a hold of it. Screwed his windsheild wiper up and the trim was flopping. But they managed not to have it leak.

Re: Quick Rant

Another satisfied customer of the hot sealant method of installation. I wont ever use that crap again. Butyl tape roll is the deal. And I found my supply of it.

No it isn't unreasonable. It was their incompetence that screwed the interior up.

Re: Will This Rub?

um doesn't the exhaust run underwater on boat engines? that would really mess up a turbo unless the exhaust goes into the water after the turbo? I guess The entire exhaust is in the engine compartment. Except the actual part exiting into the water. Water is introduced into the exhaust stream to kee...

Re: Replacing Upper Ball Joint: what am I doing wrong?

So you have a jack stand under the frame holding the weight of the van. And the small jack putting pressure on the A Frame so it wont move down when the ball joint comes loose right.

Re: Refrigerant leak a mystery

Find the leak. Use bubble solution and a paint brush and do not stop till you know where it is.
