It's factory, it and the tstat look like they're working fine.

Overheating in Death Valley, please help

Pulled our new trailer out to death valley last night, kept overheating up any grade for more than a couple miles, and had to pull over when it hit 240 and throw water at the radiator. Re: Removing a Fuel Filter from Rusted Lines

front are disc, rear are dumb... I mean DRUM brakes. Most of your stopping power happens up front, so unless the rear are FUBAR, i wouldn't even touch them until you absolutely have to.

Please tell me you are putting together a trip journal!

Re: Taking the Camper to New Lengths

Agree with you on this, the whole point is to camp, not set up all day! The general idea is crazy cool, maybe if there was a bottom piece that dropped down surrounded with canvas, like a pop top.... but a drop down. Whiskers around the sides/ edges maybe? Canvas top that attaches to the slide out......

Re: ABS light and Brake light go on - 2002 Astro AWD

Yeah, that.
Remember to...
1] replace the bolts once they're off.
2] use flux when soldering joints
3] clean with alcohol when done
4] use electronic safe sealant on the gasket

Re: What have you done to/with your van today?

End, meaning the whole bar needs to be replaced, or just the links? Should have good luck with both inAZ JYs.

Re: Need front bumper (steel part, not the cover) for 02

Awesome thought, but I'm with Uncle Bob on this... JY all the way. Chances of someone within driving distance parting out are slim and the JY cost would be less than shipping alone.

Re: Newbie in over his head?

OK cool, Im in Ventura Co. We got a few down there by you too. If you are keeping this van, and learning the work yourself, then I HIGHLY re-recommend what coaster n friends are saying about getting the cable, scanner and factory manual.
