I've had to work on my 07 uplander, it needed the rear upstream o2 sensor (the one mashed between the engine and firewall), front brakes and rear trailing arm bushings....fun fun. Astro/Safari dutch doors http://www.autoland.us/classifieds/ads_mod/images/ad126_img10_large.jpg Not sure why they are called that but thats what they are called. The top one would technically be a "hatch" And the arms are lift supports/struts. We had dutch doors in the house I grew up in....

Thats how I found mine were bad, with a pry bar. Mine also had a crunching sound on the front. Its weird as my front passenger side was also the worst one. Super easy to change, it took me about 4 hours because one of the captured nuts was spinnig and I had to cut an access hole. Heres some pics of ...
