Has anyone done? if yes, what paint have you used that work?

If you're talking about the plastic "doghouse" with the glove box and cup holders then SEM Color Coat aerosols work great.

Thanks for the response, but I am talking about the engine cover under the doghouse....it is currently white - I removed the carpeting and want to paint it black but I'm concerned about the heat, and it seems like a hard plastic....what will adhere to it....

If it is the same as a gen1 it is fiberglass. Any paint will stick to it.

If it is plastic use a coat of primer sealer first then regular primer and paint. Just sand it first with 80 grit so the sealer sticks in the plastic. Then eurofill primer to sand it smooth.

2nd Gen doghouse are fiberglass also.
Standard paint process for glass. Nothing fancy about it.
