Removing mid row seat

Removing mid row seat

Postby Cuffo [OP] » June 5th 2009, 6:39pm

I have a Astro Gladiator conversion van and I am having problems getting the drivers side mid row "quick release" captains seat out. I fought with the passengers side one for a while and it finally "popped out" but I have no advise what I did to make it happen. Any advise?

Sometimes the locks will catch and/or bind and do what you are describing. To get mine out, I have to push and pull on the seat while pulling on the handle. Once you get it out, grease them up a little bit.

The only handles I can find are the seat ajustment handles. The were 2 bolts that needed to be removed and I removed those. Am missing some thing or so I just need to brut force it?
