replacement seats with headrests

replacement seats with headrests

Postby rearden [OP] » June 22nd 2009, 3:20pm

I have a '92 Astro AWD and am a bit tall. When I sit in the seat and lean my head back the top of the seat hit right at the base of my head. I like to drive my old vehicles, but they do not have the benefit of the newer safety features.

Can anyone recommend drop in seat replacements which have adjustable headrests? Something out of a surburban? S10? another model or year of astro? My latest scan around PullApart did not turn up an astro with adjustable headrests, but there must be a straightforward replacement.

Suburban/Tahoe seats should go in without a whole lot of trouble.

Look for an Astro or Safari with the LT badge on it.
The seats were much nicer and had a headrest that could be raised up or down.
They fit the same mounts, no mods.

Thanks!

I thought I read on here somewhere that Lumina seats fit too.
