Wow, astrogod you are the man, a mild 350 true dual exhaust non tubbed, no frame work Astro. That is something you dont see everyday, not, haha really. I have 2, 1 tubbed the other not, 1 sorta mild 350 the other not.

I am sure most of us know what true dual exhaust is. The posts were other options or trying to explain, not much benefit to dual exhaust on the V6.

My tubbed V8 Astro has true dual exhaust, 3 inch headers, 3 inch pipe, 3 inch Flowmasters coming out in front of back wheels. Dont need H or Y pipe, have plenty of torque.
My LS1 V8 Astro has true dual exhaust, with a H pipe, duals mufflers mounted tall ways on passenger side and splits after axle.

I've got true duals on my van, with 2 mufflers. The exhaust is routed to the passenger side of the van, with 2 Xcellerator mufflers stood up next to each other, with the drivers side coming back to the left side of the van once it's behind the axle. Of course, the guy that bent it removed any possibility of hanging a spare tire under the van....not happy about that, but that was the P.O. that had that work done...
A temporary fix usually becomes a permanent solution, therefore it does not exist.

you guys are gonna love this...lol another reason to have a preformance forum. what is an H pipe/X pipe? how does it work? what is a dual inlet dual outlet muffler? an x pipe evens out exaust pulses between the 2 heads. this promotes cylinder scavenging. the H pipe is old school. everyone replaced them with the x pipe. the advantage of this dual inlet/outlet muffler is that you have the muffler doing both duties. it saves space, saves labour, saves money cause it allows the system to flow better than stock.
