Heater core

Heater core

Postby Vinnie6 [OP] » May 16th 2011, 7:04pm

Last night my windows started fogging up and my wife started complaining about a funny smell. Defrost did not fix the windows. I feared the worst. Yup. The heater core is done. I have a real mess on the passenger side floor. The good news is I already have a new heater core laying around and I know how to fix it. As many of you know, It is so easy on the Astro.

Is it really easy? Seriously? I capped mine. It was cold enough here today to run my heat. What is up with that

Yeah, it seriously is easy on the Astro. I only wish it was half as easy on the Bravada (had to do that when I bought it as the PO had capped it).

Glad you already had one around, Vinnie - that makes it so much easier.
