Hi new member here - anyone able to help?

Postby jsy_guy [OP] » August 19th 2008, 8:14pm

Hi, i have just purchased a 1996 4.3ltr Chevrolet Astro Dayvan 15th anniversary addition Tiara Model - put together by the Tiara motor company? Overall she is in pretty good condition and im very happy with my purchase. Can anyone tell me where i can find second-hand parts - like the sunroof, maybe seats and the wooden trim and any internet companys that sell a decent air filter and a SS exhaust system.

Cheers guys,

Ben

Ben,
Try out acouple of these links:
http://www.v-sales.com/tiara.htm
For junk yards
WWW.car-part.com

From the search I did, seems V-Sales is one of the larger outlets for Tiara.

Here is two RV sites too:

http://rvingoutpost.invisionzone.com/fo ... hp?act=idx

Hope this helps and sorry for taking so long to get back to you.Wlecome to the site.

Welcome aboard. For the catback, Gibson makes a direct fit catback, in stainless and aluminized with a stainless tip. It sounds good on my stro, better flowing, a little more grunt to it, but isn't that loud. They offer many different bolt on versions, single side swept, dual side swept, and dual out the rear. The cheapest one is this one:

As far as the air filter... you can probably just pick a K&N filter at your local carparts store unless you want to go Cold Air Induction. If so then I would recommend the Volant intake, but only if you got extra beans laying around. Ebay would probably be your best bet, craigslist or the junkyard for second hand parts. Good luck, and happy vannin. :layrubber:

for aftermarket interior things , JC Whitney or the salvage yards are your best bet . i've worked with alot of conversion vans & theres not much available like thier used to be . alot of pieces i find are in the junk yards .
