i used to run 235/75s all the time on my 89 2wd, they only rubbed during tight cornering. I even ran 235/70s with 2" drop spindles, but that took some modification to the fender. structure

i have heard that the older vans could run bigger tires but i am pretty sure i cant fit 235s under my 97 awd

I sent you a message back just now

you can turn your tbars up and have mild rubbing on the bumper and fender flair. sawzal fixed my problem, I am now running 31's with out my 4" lift on just because my 235's are bald and its really snowing out :swerve:

My '92 the T-bars were cranked up a little with air shocks out back and I had to do minor inside front fender work to get my 235/75/15's to not rub. Not a lot of work and my T-bars actually could have gone up higher now that I think of it. I say crank them up and do something out back to give it a little lift too just to get by. :D

Crank the bars up and any trimming you need to do, you'll need to do anyways when you change the method of lift.
Not sure about tire wear tho...you are supposed to get an alignment after adjusting the T-bars a lot.

You can leave the rear stock for a 235. You'll just have that Baja/Desert Pre-Runner look :layrubber:

the alignment is no problem i have acces to a rack any time i need it thinking though i might leave the t-bars cranked up and put my lift on top of that i have seen it both ways with the keys and with the bars just cranked and no matter what people say it does the same thing the only difference is the ride!

why, 235/75/15 fit no problem on my van. they only rub a bit in the front bumper and bump a bit on the odd corner bump. i trimmed mine with a quick swipe with a razor knife. others might also rub on that inner wheel well liner cause they tend to catch on tight corners. if your front is sagging, then you might need to look at your ball joints. the awd should have more room up front

if you click the image, you can zoom in and read the tire size. or atleast i can..lol
