I wanna to installed lift kit.

I wanna to installed lift kit.

Postby Jackdavid [OP] » July 10th 2012, 9:29am

So I just installed the rockfather lift from rro. Rear springs and shocks and front struts. Soooo. I couldn't get one side of the sway bar bolts in ( will have this taken care of). Also just A LOT of noise up front. I will be taking it to STS for an aligning and to double check my work. Do you think having them double check me will help with some of the noise up front? I got some good advice already that most of the noise will go away between 200-500 miles but for sense of security I feel like this is worth the money. Any personal issues with this lift and any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you use any kind of lube on the bushings? Were the sway bar bushings poly or rubber(if you changed them) ?

Have not done a lift on and A/S, but other kits that use poly bushings do sometimes take a while to 'wear in' before they stop making noise.

Was this on an Astro/Safari? 2WD? AWD?

More info please. How much lift? Complete replace rear leafs?

Front struts? Are you talking about a Jeep?
