Bouncy ride?

I live at the end of 14 kilometres of rough gravel road.
For years ive been driving this road in everything from full size trucks and compact cars to motorcycles.

This van is the BOUNCIEST! thing ever, by far...

Im doing about 1/4 of my normal speed to avoid bouncing all over the gravel and potholes.

Im curious what factors cause this... and what is needed to make a good stable ride on gravel roads?

Suspension? Weight?

It's quite basic... That's the job of the shocks! I highly recommend the KYB Monotubes!
You should NOT be able to bounce the rear by hand.

The only other way this happens is with heavy duty springs that are unloaded... such as 1 ton springs, without a load.
