anti roll bar which one?

anti roll bar which one?

Postby Taffy25 [OP] » September 30th 2010, 8:36pm

Ok my anti roll bar is in two pieces, it failed at the drivers side due to rot as far as i can tell, cant have been like it for long since the van has been checked over alot lately although it wasnt something i was really looking at.

Soo i just been told buy the part guy that theres 3 diffrent types even though it told him its rwd 4.3 vin z etc etc and i dont have any rpo codes which he asked for, anyone know the diffrence?, or if they can be interchanged?

Thanks in advance, taff

3 different sizes in diameter is usually the case , your vin number should reveal the rpo code ,the dealer can tell you or I can post a link where you put in VIN

This link list codes for springs

and this link lists codes as well
http://www.compnine.com/vid.php?vin=1gndm19w5xb126525

you can compare and see which matches for your vehicle
and these are codes for the shaft but not sure they are rpo code
(05, EXC FE3,YF7)
(05, EXC FE3, W/YF7)(06, EXC FE3)
(W/FE3)
the springs would be part of the same RPO suspension code option, helps define which rpo cde option you have

True, still feels like the same van though, except for the noise and the slowness, it does mean il be able to keep it alive for a long time to come though, so i doubt the van will mind :D

No glove compartment? No problem. Get one from the JY. It'll have an RPO list as a bonus gift.

Taffy,

Would a local to you speed shop have something like this?

Maybe they could bring it in on a bulk order and save you a buck or two?

I hope it works out for you.
