What headers fit 1996 or newer Vortec V8 Astro?

I see that almost everyone is using the headman headers 68600 for the older style Astros but what about the 1996 and up ?

I just did a web search.Seems lacking any listings for newer years. So I looked up exhaust manifolds. They are exactly the same at the top and the angle where the pipe bolts on slightly different.I would bet same part fits newer models.A guy I know changed heads on a S-10 from old stlye 90 to new stlye 97 vortec and he used the same exhaust he had. That what got me thinking they the same.It was a V-8I never done it but I bet they the same.

I was looking up listings and seems that since there is only a small market for headers for Astros , you may have to contact some muffler shops or speed shops that may have knowledge on what are interchangeable , I looked up headers for S-10 Blazer with the 4.3L and the parts that they showed are the same as for the V8 ,

Wow, i did'nt know they sold them like that where you could remove 1 tube on each header to make them work on a V6 .

It's probably for clearancing an S10. I know that you have to remove the steering shaft otherwise which is a pain.

Hey out there!! I purchased a set of Pace Setter headers for an S10 4.3 the drivers side header had to be cut up and reshaped because they are designed to have the steering column slip through one of the tube bends. It's been quite a headache but they'll get'er done. It takes a big man to buy headers for an Astro Van but it takes a bigger man ta cut'em up!! Also the spark plug wires are becoming an issue, will probably have to go to L shaped ends because when they come straight out they're to close to the header pipes in a couple instances.

This is a 97 base Astro Van 4.3 liter rear wheel drive with, Magnaflow exhaust system, ram air, Pace Setter Headers, Maxxis White Walls in the front, Maxxis HT 750s in the back, Burgundy powder coated rims, KYB MonoMax shocks all the way around, Burgundy curtains in rear side windows bow tied, and I had the front springs cut 2" so it got the lean. Also am having the grill painted green but flat, no clear coat and the turning signal lenses tinted amber.

My little Hot Rod Astro!!!! Pics to come after job is finished!!!!

I used a set of G8 GT Kooks Long Tubes. I have a 2001 Astro 2WD and a 2007 5.3L in it. Driver side slid right in. Passenger side needed one of the primary pipes rerouted slightly.
