EGR valve

Cleaning egr valve and was using wd40, working it slow and it got stuck low as I was pressing down. It didn't work its way back to top flush..

Be nice to me I'm trying, is this okay or do I need a replacement?

Yes you need new one if it is stuck open. It will run terrible that way.

If you dont have emission testing make a block for it. Motor has more power if it is blocked.

I used a Bracket from furniture piece of 1/8 inch steel. But a can will work.

Do I only cut holes for the bolts to go back on engine and cover the other two?

Cover both if you can. One blocked is enough. I believe you have same one I have. This is mine.

I have no problem at a red light or in park, she idles nice.

Car parts place here in Winnipeg wants $250.00 for a new egr valve, wow
