installed the new distributer cap and rotor today, and a new airfilter, the old one was black/brown haha
The car performed alot better but still not a 100% im betting on the the spark plugs.

Im going to check/change them this weekend when i replace the rear muffler. then it will be 100%

the egr code pops up and goes away just as fast as it comes. Maybee its about to give up

Happynes in little sweden today

I went to a buddys garage taday to get the new rear muffler on, it went smoothly
but thats not the happy news ;) When i drove home i had to get some gas, i added a few gallons (like 30%) of :chevy: E85 its called in sweden, its ethanol. I did that for one reason, im going to get the car tested on thuseday and it helps the exhaust values (Co,Hc) if the catalyst is in bad shape. Anyway, after a while the car acted funny, it acted like if it was out of gas, but all of the suddenly it ran fine, and i mean really fine, like perfect!! like a new Porche! :rolling:

I dont know what happened but i can only amagine tha the ethanol "cleaned the pipes" so to speak
and cleaned out the fuel system.

i Just had to share the joy haha

Now to the last detail, i have no horn in the car! When i push it there is a "cilick" in a relay underneath the stering wheel, like just above my feet. But there is no orn to bee found in the car, and no cables in the engine room either to plug in the new horn i bought.
So a little help is needed..
Anybody with a pic om the horn mounted in a 1989 astro? or other pics that can help, or know the colors of the cables in the engine room or where they are lokated?

I hear a very happy Swedish guy talk  ( or is he happy because Munken left Sweden???)

The horns are behind your grill, in front off the Cooler..

Haha it could bee 4 that reason, but mostly its because my dear car is like driving a dream :swerve:

Thats where i thought they would be.. but there is nothing, and no cables either.. wierd.. i have to make the horns work tomorrow
or i will fail the test :(
i will scratch my head about it in the morning now that i have time to spare since i dont have to change sparkplugs woohoo
