good info Gary. alot of the processes used to make the cam shafts seems complicated. one process i did not see was the use of cryogenics. i noticed that nitriding is ceramic and that cryogenics would most certainly cause it to break. but the process could be preformed before nitriding. i have used cryogenics on external parts and never internals but it doesn't change the shape. only strengthens the piece
