I did not know they made wheels (or tires) that big. He must only be able to drive it on a straight line! lol

Enjoy.

My personal all time favorite is taking a 4X4 and putting on rubber band tires(extreme low profile)then lowering the truck. Now it cant be driven over a speed bump in a parking lot much less in a field.A gas hog you cant drive anywhere I have got to admit thats what I dream of.To each his own whatever makes you happy.

I didn't know you could find that many Astros in Japan let alone at a car show.

Thanks!

I'm not so big on the fancy wheels and such. My thing is to cruise along in a "Sleeper" waiting to strike. Some fool comes up beside you in his Mustang or whatever and you drop it into 2nd and let the Big Dog Eat! Chevy 454 Roller Motor pushing 550/600 HP. Now that's what I dream of!

The "Donk" "Bubble" "Box" customized cars have rediculously huge wheels...it has to be the ugliest and most tasteless trend in automotive history!! I hope nobody does that to an Astro!

Is it just me, or do those Astro/Safari's look bigger in Japan than the American ones?

My brother in law is from Japland, I mean Japan and he is scared of how tall Chinese people are lol. What made me laugh more is that he said, "Chinese people want to look Japanese, Japanese wanna look Korean, and Koreans just want to be American, and on rare occasions Black"

My ideal car would be a 1985 Cutlass Supreme with a Chevy 350, 13 inch 150 spoke Daytons, White wall tires, and hydraulics :D . I have always loved low riders.

I once saw an S10 blazer on the interstate that had small low profile wheels/tires & a lift kit, returning it to stock height. There must have been a foot of empty space in the wheel wells. The tires stuck out a good 4 inches past the body, he had little blue marker lights over them. Dumbest looking setup I'd ever seen, but hey- it made him happy & it was his truck.

I just watched that video in the original post. Take a look when the camera goes under the vehicle, I see from the back side what looks like a pretty standard size rim. It looks like he got some really big wheel/tire covers.
