V8 kit - van, engine and mounts

Postby JPaganel [OP] » August 9th 2009, 7:44pm

I have come to a realization that I am not actually going to do this. I can throw the engine on CL, junk the van and eBay the mounts, but I would really like it to go to someone with an interest. I would really like to sell everything before I consider splitting.

Here's what I got:

1993 Astro, G80 rear, Hydroboost with ABS, dutch doors, captain chairs, alloy rims, tow package, brand new alternator (one week before engine died). Little rust - one spot on the liftgate and a bit on the rear bumper. Rear doors do not leak. Van has a bent front bumper (should be easy to fix in the process of conversion) and the current W engine does not start.

A small block V8, 350 cid, not sure of year. This is a FI engine and the wiring harness comes with it.

A set of brand new, never used V8 mounts.

I will also throw in a couple of spare wheels with tires.

I will help you to get the van to your place if you are close by. I am in NE Minneapolis. I will need a bit of notice to meet since the engine is covered up by some stuff in my garage and I need to dig it out. I have an engine crane and can load the engine.

I would like $800 for everything. Email me, since I don't visit the board all that often.
Been around this block a time or three

How much for just the V8 engine, harness and mounts?
I have a very clean '95 with no engine in it.

I'd like to give it a little bit of time to see if the whole thing goes. I'm going to have a hard time getting rid of the van otherwise, and I really don't want to crush it.

If you're not in a hurry, we can talk in a few days.
