Postby BobM [OP] » August 23rd 2009, 5:23am

I have the old exhaust off of my '97 Astro free to the first taker. Just either pick it up or pay shipping.

I wish you were closer, I wouldn't mind getting rid of the E-250 exhaust that's on there now. I can get one at the local pick n pull cheaper than shipping, I'd think.

Thanks just the same!

I'm in Virginia Beach. There's a pick 'n Pull out here, they usually have an Astro or two. I'd be very surprised if they wanted more than $30 for the muffler & tailpipe. They destroy all the intermediate pipes taking off the cats. We also have a small chain of muffler shops called Big Al's. They do good work, at a good price. I really try to avoid doing exhaust work anymore since they do it for the same price it would cost me to buy the parts.

Thanks for the offer though!

I have tried my dremel at exhaust work and lets just say its absolutly no fun. New exhaust on these Vans isn't too expensive. I think I paid $26 for the tailpipe & threw a universal $20 muffler on my Van. :D
