Clutch Fork wanted

Clutch Fork wanted

Postby Pepper2829 [OP] » July 26th 2015, 5:39am

As the title sates, I am in need of a clutch fork. 4.3L T5

Obviously GM no longer makes them. All aftermarket manufacturers/parts stores (if they have a listing) have a wrong fork listed. It appears to be for a 4 cyl S10, or mustang.....pivot is on the wrong side.

Funny thing is, GM lists same fork for both the 4.3L and the 4 cyl vans....but auto parts stores show two different ones.
The 4cyl one is the right shape (not sure about length) but has a different mount for the pivot (has a hole for a little stud and nut rather than typical GM spring mount.

Anyone know what other clutch fork will work?? Or sell me a used one.
I really don't want to get into modifying one and hope it works...I will if I have to though.

Only place online I could find original GM part possibly in stock, is from a company in Italy, and they have not got back to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ManualGM Astro/Safari vans were produced with a 4-speed manual or a 5-speed manual transmission. Manual transmissions feature a driver-operated clutch and a movable gear stick which are commonly swapped with automatics in custom applications and transmission conversions.
