97 astro side light fuse

97 astro side light fuse

hi I have a cali custom astro astro and I managed to blow the fuse for the side lights, trouble is I cannot find the fuse to replace its not in the fuse box next to the battery which I find strange. can you help. Is there another fuse holder somewhere else.

Which side lights are we talking about? Turn signals, parking lights, running boards?

side lights and tail lights think you call them parking lights also same fuse for dash lights as there not workin now either

The fuse should be labeled park lps.

hi thats totally different to my fuse box i have smaller fuses in the middle and larger up the left hand side

You should have one labeled taillight or park.

In my neighbors 96 astro, in the fuse block under the hood there is a 40 amp fuse labeled "lighting".

yep thats right checked that and it looks ok but thought there would be a sepetate one for park lights and dash lights.as this seems to be for the main n dipped beem main fuse.




will check the spec manual online......

Parking Lamps, Ashtray Lamp, Panel
Lights, Trailer Taillamps, Front and
Rear Sidemarker Lamps, Door Switch

Illumination"

Mitchell on Demand. Since Autozone bought alldata, its gone downhill and there seems to be holes in the information that weren't there before.
