fuse box removal 97 astro 2wd

fuse box removal 97 astro 2wd

Postby cottontop [OP] » July 7th 2010, 1:51am

I think I have a short behind the under dash fuse box on my 97 astro and would like to remove it to try and fix the problem. Does anyone know how to remove this plastic box without breaking it?

I've never had to remove the fuse center on mine. Are you blowing fuses? Which one?
The price of paying attention is cheap considering the alternative.

My gauges went out. I jiggled the under dash fuse box and they came back but went out again so I'm pretty sure there is a short where the wires attach at the back of the box but I can't tell how this box comes loose, seems it is held by some plastic tabs and I didn't want to break anything. Thanks for any help.
