Disable the starter. Put a spark plug wire into the top of the coil, then a plug in the spark plug and ground the plug. Turn the ignition from RUN to START a few times while you observe the plug. Does it spark? If not, then the coil may be bad.... or the problem may be in the coil's circuit.

New parts fail too... recheck the parts and your work. What's the voltage on the coil?its a new coil
