More info please -
Miles on engine?
What did the plugs look like?
You owned it for ?? years or just bought it?
Service history?
OBD codes?

Perhaps -
Vacuum leak(s) - spray the hoses and connectors w carb cleaner
to diagnose. Increase in RPM when sprayed suggests a vacuum leak right there.

Gasket leak - intake, head

Fuel filter - Fuel pump

Throttle body gunked up

Injectors on the bonk

PCV valve

IAC thingie

Tiny monsters living in your intake manifold, eating cookies and dropping
the crumbs into the cylinders, causing the air fuel mix to go haywire with
the added carbohydrates from the crumbs.

Pretty endless list.
