Has any one put Amber lights on your astro roof? How does it look? am thinking putting some on my van not sure yet if want to. but I did put some on my Truck.
Hi, It depends on the type of lamp, If you are using LED type lamps then there is very little current load on the wire but if you were using say 5x 5W bulbs then you would need a thicker wire to take the higher current. I am running various LEDs from the feed to the roof console via some switches mounted in the front of it but Im not sure that all vans have a roof console as standard. otherwise it is quite simple to run a wire up the windscreen pillar under the plastic trim from your lighting system to the marker lights, just remember to use lots of sealer where the screws & wires come through the roof otherwise you will get a wet headliner! (& always put a fuse in the system)
Hope this helps
Cheers
