oil cooler lines...

hello! we just got a 94 chevy astro van & replaced the radiator & oil cooler lines. In the process, my husband can't rembmere which one goes "in" & which one goes "out"....
he is thinking that the top is "in"...
he's at the shop working on this right now & does not have access to internet, so i am typing for him!

quick answers are greatly appreciated!!!

iirc, it doesn't really matter since they just end in a junction block. The longer one goes to the top since they thread around stuff together, then the top one goes up and the bottom one goes right to its fitting.
