Well those are Provan's Tiger GT which is based on a Astro chassis.Provan built two versions. The GT is a pop-up version and the XL was the full motor home hard top.Pricing runs from $4,500 and up for the GT pop top and for XL motor home can have a starting price of $8,900 and up.You'll find a larger number of these out west where they built originally. They are 16' long.Alergo also built a version of Astro motor homes which are 19' long. Here is a pic of a XL:

The post on antoher thread said he needed a stealth camping Astro to hide the fact he was staying in it from his employer and that is why I didn't bring up these to him.

The last camping trip I went on I remember seeing an Astro based class C motorhome. It looked like the camper part was fiberglass (or something like that) and it curved to match the front (started at about van width by the front doors and curved out). That's a pretty interesting find.

They are made of fiberglass.Provan who made them doesn't have the mold's anymore and won't build them any longer. They have moved onto building high end truck campers now.I have been looking for a fixer upper for two yrs now but the pricing for them is still up there.People have kept up the demand for them because one in good shape you can get 16mpg which is hard to beat given a motor home.Where they fall short is their ability to tow anything. The wt of the motor home pretty much is all the chassis can handle.

Oh ya,one other thing.I have steered away from the pop up versions because given as old as these are sooner or later the canvas would need to be replaced without a source available.

Any boat awning/interior shop should be able to replicate the canvas. You could also send it off to a company like http://www.bearcreekcanvas.com (there's others out there too) for replacement. This subject comes up every so often at http://www.popupportal.com , another board I frequent.
