Aftermarked Mirrors with motor and LED

Aftermarked Mirrors with motor and LED

Postby AstroNorway [OP] » June 12th 2012, 1:02am

Good day to you all and regards from Norway!

As the topic said, aftermarked mirrors with motor and LED signal lights... I got those on my van.. witch is a 4,3 tbi (1994).

Anyway, my inspection is next weekend and the car has to be perfect to get trou so I still can drive it legally! problem is the turn signal at the right mirror has suddently stopped working (typical right before the big day)... And i cant get the bloody door panel off, and the weird thing is that i dont know for sure but it worked for a long time and the wires inside it should be secure and so on... but ive been working alot with the other wires in the car so i think i somehow , somewhere have F**ked a wire...

Anyway, question is.... where to begin troubleshooting WITHOUT taking off the doorpanel to remove mirror... The motor works, just not the signal light... all other lights on the car works perfectly...

Here's got a pic of the mirrors.. and my car

Or do any1 have a wiring diagram?

Those are aftermarket mirrors. The Astro never came with turn signals on the mirrors, so we won't be able to help you.

The easiest way to wire up those turn signals is to run the wires directly from the front signal lights and just parallel the connections.
