Skid plates

So I just replaced my cracked oil pan on my AWD. Talk about a major PITA. (still have to button everything up and replace the oil cooler hoses).

Has anyone fabricated a skid plate to protect the pan? Any vendors out there sell a kit?

I'm pretty sure your going to have to use your mad fab skills. I've designed a off road type bumper with thought of it being one point of attachment for a skid plate taken into consideration.
