I just got back from a simple 300 mi trip to San Francisco. I found a few of those tailgating idiots. Nothing a "brake check" didn't solve. Don't you love their faces when they realize they are screwed!!http://www.astrosafari.com/posting.php?mode=reply&f=64&t=13446# The trip was in my other car....a Crossfire. I nail the brakes and then the gas. They don't know what just happened in front of them but I get lots of room after that.

Okay this directly related to this video and has a awsome ending. So hang in there through the boring story leading up to it.
I driving 32-33 MPH in a 35 zone in a town where it is a speed trap and the police are jerks. Guy Honks up and rides less than 6 inches from my bumper. I let off the gas to 20 MPH then stop dead in the road. He dont act like he wants any of me. I go on and the idiot keeps it up. So next stop sign I just sit there 3-5 minutes till he gets a couple cars behind him. I am motioning politely maybe we should discuss this on the side of the road. No reponse.
Well a car was at the cross road I went he had to wait his turn. Well he was about to show me a thing or 2 reckon. He nailes it comes barreling up on my rear end with the intent to stop short and ride me again.

But in the words of the Immortal Forrest........... Wait he loses control on the right shoulder. Wheel in the drainage ditch wheels cut. Hits the driveway. Scraping undercarriage sounds into a horrible metal crashing sound. Darts across the street and into the other ditch. Doing his best imitation of the Dukes of Hazzard landing in a field. Cuts downhill trying to get back on the road nailed. Hits the drainage ditch on that side bounces the front end up a couple feet. Lands again in the drainage ditch parallel to the road. I a thinkin he totalled it. Boy I glad I resisted the urge to whoop him the first time I stopped. Carma did a much better job teaching him a lesson and I didn't get into trouble.

Randy, I got one of those stories.

When my body and paint guy was flowing the Quasar blue metallic on my Buick wagon I rented a Geo Metro for a couple days, hey it was all I could afford. So I'm coming down the on ramp from the overpass and there is another Metro in the #1 lane, using the aid of the slope of the on ramp I speed up to get out ahead of the other Metro. Well he stomps it to the floor, like as if, I merge over about 15'-20' in front of him, he slams on the brakes, looses control and was probably still doing 20 MPH when he stuffed the nose into a light pole.
