opening the dutch door from inside the van?

has anybody modified their dutch door with a button to open from the inside? seems like it'd be pretty easy to do. i tried searching but came up with nuthin...

We were talking about it a while back, but don't recall if it got done. It could probably be done with just a pull cord, but a door handle or P/U tail gate handle would look nice.

im talking about the top hatch. i dont mind reaching out and popping the outside handle on the lower door once the top is open. its the top door that id like to pop open from inside.

I spliced into the hatch module there above the jack and ran a momentary button up by the slider. I've also seen a button put right on the hatch next to the handle.
I'll have to look tomorrow, but I think it was the black and orange wires.

i can't really tell by your picture, but SWEET! looking forward to your post tomorrow! i figured a momentary button right by the handle might prolly do the trick...

Let me see if I can find that members post. I think the wiring fat the hatch isn't as straight forward.
