This was an accidental overpost but since it is here I will use it to ask another question I had. I was reading online where the Astro and Safari got poor ratings on crash test. Can Anything be done to make it safer? Like taking everything out installing some kind of roll cage, Driving w/ a helmet (j/k lol), Welding?

Drive slower & stay safer! Put a lift kit on it! Push bar up front.....

If our Vans had a full frame then there wouldn't be that seperation or weak point in the under carriage for the Van to collapse the way it does.

Really though there is a youtube video of like 20/20 or Dateline were they crash like 5 min vans and the Astro Van wasn't the worst. Plus they make them crash from the front driver's side corner....thats the crash that would be the worst for the drivers.

For the most part these trucks are Soccer Mom Taxis, Family Movers, Work Vehicles and such, not Indy 500 material...

Personally, I don't think mine would go over 75mph, even going down hill. (Ha !)
