So other FSMs I've had for other vehicles included everything, for my Astro I found two volume sets on Ebay but saw they include all, except engine control, and transmission & electrical diagnostics. I'm guessing there's another manual for this, but probably multiple books. Is there a more comp...

Re: Audio, Electrical, and Interior questions for doors

It is a conversion van so I'd be a little surprised if it didn't. Is WD-40 white lithium good to use on the doors? https://www.wd40.com/products/white-lithium-gr...

Re: Power cut on freeway, but started right back up after?

Battery is new, tests fine, redid negative battery cable a couple months ago because the post was stripped and I was having issues like this. Replaced wire 10g red wire between starter and alternator around then too, because it looked bad and the van was doing weird stuff while it was off. Distribu...

Re: Ford 8.8 Eaton eLocker build and install

...Go light with the Dremel as you still want the bearing to fit snug. Just remove what is needed on the inside of the inner race so it slips easily over the pinion. I kept this up for a few days till I could get back here. Am I reading this correctly... that IS a precision ground ID, is it not ? H...

Re: Motor-Assisted Bicycle Adventures. anyone?

just sittin' here snickering - as we get our tray on. Watched The Flight of the Phoenix ( '65 ) w/ the spousal unit - great inspiration on SO many levels and personal stories. Then I read your post. I had my instincts verified, cool. and of course, like you, would never promote operating heavy machi...

Re: Motor-Assisted Bicycle Adventures. anyone?

Augi... goodness, how does it get any better than that Panorama w/ the Glacier. Geez, and I thought WE had seen some neat stuff. Guess I gotta' go start looking. The Van crossing a little wooden bridge into a meadow at the foot of the Tetons, near Jenny Lake comes to mind. I wish we had included The...

Re: Recurring P0101

One member is using an aquarium piece - 2-3 bucks if that.
Years later he says it still works.
The CPI motor has 2 check valves in the vacuum circuits.

uhh, keep looking.

Check around the heater valves, large hoses, intake manifold - may have to remove the inside engine cover / doghouse.
Good Luck!!

Re: dutch door electrical question

Picture makes it look like they are crooked but they are not. The dog house is not on so the panel is just sitting there not screws or anything lol. Mark, I think they will do just fine for you - what are the Labels / Usage ? Rel., Wiper and Def. ? And let's not forget pitch spacing and t-squares.....

Re: How to fix No Air from Vent / Vacuum / Intermittent AC I

I used the first posters method to try and fix my blower motor issue . I found the line the OP described and it was broken. So I replaced it with GM part 15967970. Still no blower motor. I ended up replacing 3 rubber vacuum lines from the vacuum reservoir and to the valve and T. They’re really easy...
