98 AWD transfer questions

OK so this 98 is suppose to be a np4472 transfer and even says so on the tag but it has autotrac2 fluid coming out of it? Anyone seen this before? It says in my manual it is suppose to have transmission fluid in it?

what should I keep off the 98 for the 03?

Hello guys and gals I have the 98 I am stripping for the 03, I kept things like the hydroboost, but I would like to know what you 2nd gen folks seem to have to replace so if I have a good one I can put it in a box in case I need it later. Thanks Mark

Well I had to cut a few things, but the frame .engine. trans, and transmission are all out. The u bolts on the rear drive shaft I got 2 out and the other 2 were severely stripped so I pulled the frame forward and let the driveshaft slide out onto the ground. but when you lift the engine higher doesn't that mean you need to also lift the transmission and T case? then will it not mess with the drive shafts , axle /angles and such?
