amazon had the lisle double flare setup for around 60$ ....worked great for me..dont waste money on cheap 20$ ones..

find a good rebuilder in your area....maybye ask your local chevy dealer who they use....not all dealers have a in house trans guy and they send out..

if i had to do it again id go thru the floor like that....i used a little heat to break the rust bond on the screws....propane torch for just maybye 5-10 seconds is all you need...dont wanna melt anything on the inside of that proportioning valve....big money for a new one...dont forget to use never...

those modules are a pain in a$$....make sure it really is the module and not loose ground wire or speed sensor first...if your break lines are rusty or even questionable i would bite the bullet and just pull the whole thing out and do it all...chances are you are gonna snap the lines anyway...more w...

If you have 100k plus miles and it Is the all plastic one good chance it’s the original .. Im not one to throw parts at a problem but they are easy to do and a decent aluminum one is around 100 bucks ..piece of mind

Do those grounds .. one bad main ground can cause all kinds of weird problems .. grab the wire brush and clean up every main point ..some dielectric grease won’t hurt either

Have you check the distributor for play?? They get worn out and you get intermittent problems..common problem

I wouldn’t even bother trying to have that welded..new subframe or to the boneyard.. I’m in New England and know rust and have pushed the limits but that is a no go in my opinion

Did you upgrade battery and wire gauge and grounds?? If you adding heavy loads you really gotta upgrade it all..

Tbi only needs 12-14 psi…reliable system ..look at injector spray pattern.. usually when ignition control module goes you are stuck with crank no start

I had a small leak on my my 92 I could never pinpoint so I kept adding refrigerant…. Had same symptoms.. this was before i knew overcharging was bad as not enough

Blown head gasket is usually coolant in the oil .. could be leaky injector or bad regulator ..get a fuel pressure gauge and do a leak down test ..

with 156k i would check out the distributor...had same type intermittent rough running problems and it turned out it was worn out..common issue on these....check fuel filter to...start with the normal tune up type stuff first.

How is your distributor?? I had a p0300 I chased for weeks and it was worn enough to have all kinds of random misfires etc… changed it out never ran better.. no more codes

Check the line going into the intake manifold .. gonna have to take dog house off .. gets brittle from the heat .. it’s a small elbow

its a diy job but have a good air hammer and torch on hand.....the torsion bars can be a bear to get out and the lower control arm bolts can be seized in the bushing....soak everything in PB blaster let it sit ..
