Re: STARCRAFT logo wanted

Looking to reprint some older graphics?
Good luck with finding that, I wouldn't imagine it's very popular for someone to have a vector sitting around lol.
If it's the same StarCraft around now, maybe you could reach out to them?
If it is, it looks like it's an older logo anyway so they may not mind.

Thinking of removing my passenger side airbag...

Being it doesn't have a disable (or does it?) function, I was pondering just removing it. After watching a removal video, I see the dash panel is part of the bag module, so with it out you'd have a gaping hole. So I was further pondering if I could remove the panel to put it back in place sans the a...

Re: P0442 - heater line leak?

I just recently got the P0442 as well. I'm replacing the purge and vent solenoids. However, after clearing the code it hasn't come back, but I've only gone for a 25 minute drive since. You can always change the gas cap as well, easiest step to do. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C9SJUC/ref=...

Re: Front locker

It obviously would depend a lot on the type of locker. Some lockers bind in turns.. some are open. A G80 locker operates as a completely "open" differential, until one wheel spins causing it to lock. This type would have no negative affects on normal steering or driving, until a wheel los...

Re: Front locker

This slipped my mind, but when I had my Jeep, it was a Rubicon so I had air lockers, but a lot of folks were having good experiences with Aussie lockers.
Probably not available for our vans, but just to throw out there.

Re: Tappa tappa tappa mechanical sound, now a P0442

So just a mini update, I reset the code this morning with my trusty OBDLink. I fired it up and the SES didn't come back on, so after a few minutes I decided to go for a test drive. Driving around for about 20 minutes, including some hammer down start offs from lights, no SES yet. I'll still replace ...

Re: Front locker

I've heard a lot of for's and against's, mainly against's is the locker locking up when not wanted as it really boogers steering.
Granted this is coming from Jeeps but shouldn't matter the vehicle.
I know locker selection is limited for our axles, but a remotely operated locker would be the way to go.

Re: Oil Dipstick Tube Replacement sourcing

Junk yard, far and few in between for the 1st gens, around here anyway.
But you could get one and spiff it up before installing, plus practice on removing beforehand.
No idea if the gen 2 dipstick tube would fit, but I'd guess it may lol

Re: Door Arm Rests Upgrade

Awesome! That rug really ties the room together, er I mean armrest and door lol Even just offering the armrests cut and ready to finish would be awesome. Nice door panels you have there anyway, mine are poo. Being a conversion van, and I'm guessing a cheap conversion van, I only have the very basic ...

Re: Cargo/front AC only system

Near as I have been able to figure out that extra canister is an expansion chamber used on the factory system. Thanks for clarifying that clarification  I figure while I'm in there replacing the compressor I'll replace the manifold lines with one of these aftermarket jobbers: https://www.e...

Re: Tappa tappa tappa mechanical sound, now a P0442

SportsBoy, yes indeed thunkish but not like drivetrain or anything and kinda sounds like it could be something mounted to the body by the way it sounds. It happened again this morning heading home and weather wasn't the norm for when I hear it. It also only seems to occur shortly after starting off,...

Re: Tappa tappa tappa mechanical sound, now a P0442

After hearing at AZ the code was most likely a solenoid I got to thinking it could be solenoid chatter. It seems to happen most when it's rainy or rainyish weather, but have had it happen a couple times on clear days. But it does seem to be fairly random. The vent solenoid I'd guess may be suspect b...

Re: Bed seat in front

After having removed my conversion van power bench bed, I don't see why it wouldn't physically fit but mine was bolted through the floor with reinforcing plates underneath. No idea if they were original but I suspect they were custom for the seat. Edit: Disregard, I misread that, for some reason tho...
