New transmission at 120k, new radiator, fuel pump, starter, catalytic converter (yup), brake and fuel lines, etc, etc. I paid $1.5k last summer...

    Hi folks, I have a 2wd 2000 Astro in which I am now on my 4th starter since I got the van about a year ago. I have installed 3. What could be killing them? I haven't seen wear on the gear, so I don't think it is sticking, though 2 of the times I did hear what sounded like a stuck bendix...
