My wife is complaining about the fact that the passenger side has no leg room and none of her friends want to drive in the van. Reluctantly, my '00 LT is for sale, White with grey, rwd, barn doors, 3rd seat, JVC head unit, 118K miles, well taken care of, no worn out door panel arm rests which IMO is highly unusual. $5K. Believe me Matrixx, I'm sorry I have to sell off this van. Spend about a year to locate a good one. Solved the hard to start problem, due to using a Airtex fuel pump, and been running great ever since.

Always seems to be the way. Get things going good, then something out of the blue which you never thought of catches you off guard.

I think you and the other half will miss the freedom it does give though. Not to many other vehicles around has the features and abilities these vans have that's for sure. I wish you the best either way.

My wife is in the process for trying to find something to replace this beloved Astro, and think it's going to take awhile. I'm not getting involved with the search, nor does she expect help from me. Explained that it must have north/south drivetrain position, 2WD and get the same fuel mileage The only thing that comes to mind is a S-10 Blazer, but look at how much room we're going to lose. No way that I can fit a complete engine/trans/tools in the back of one of them.

Lowering the price to $4,500. As stated this Astro is a well care for, regularly maintained, for insistence, the transmission pan is dropped once a year for filter change, 4K oil changes and yearly fuel filter changes.
