Just curious - what is it doing, or not doing ?
Lube job will help w/ not having to hold the door in to open it.
Ours was so so tight, opening w/ a bang, it was so dry. ( that's what she said... )

Unless there is something broken/missing, there is not much to go wrong with the latch assembly, that a clean and lube will not fix. Is yours real high mileage and worn out?

One from a JY might not be any better, but finding a late/low mileage one could be worth the expense.

Nope... not much can go wrong. Although, 30 year old rubber does not lie when it crumbles out of the cleaned Latch...

These bits did include soft and hard rubber pieces. I had no such problems with the Driver's Door Latch.
