Cool build. $25k does seem steep, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if you get that. What gearing are you running in the diffs with 30" tires? Would be also interested to know the condition of all the rubber underneath. That stuff if notorious for breaking down on these vans and isn't cheap to pay a mechanic to freshen it all up.

People generally value something based on what they paid, rather than the current market. I watched a bone stock AWD with 45k fetch $15k (blind sale) in a few hours. That's the reality at the moment.

This van platform becoming more rare and it's value will only increase. Good luck with the sale!

Yes. You are correct about the rubber. Even though I bought the van with low mileage. The rubber was still old. The steering gear input shaft seal and upper and lower ball joints and the front idler arms have been replaced.

And yes, we are still going to have a camping rig. We're just doing the ol' truck with a camper shell thing. Seems safest with two kids. A crew cab truck (in the event of a rollover or driving off a cliff, haha, not sure why my imagination goes there!). I'm going to miss never having to exit the van during a snowstorm/rain storm when I find a camp spot though. There was nothing better than unbuckling my seatbelt and simply meandering to the back of the van during a storm. The truck camper shell won't provide that luxury!
