I was wondering if I could swap the radios between my 1988 and my 2000 Astro vans without changing the connectors. The 2000 Astro has the factory logic-control cassette deck in it. My 1988 Astro has my nice Pioneer Premier series cassette deck with 12 disc CD changer that I bought about 15 years ago. It's a really nice sounding system that I'd like to have in my new van ( yes, I know it's a cassette deck, but it has Dolby C and dbx, plus the CD changer is compatible with my home stereo) What I want to do is just simply trade the decks between the two vans. Will this be a simple "Plug and play" swap, or did GM change the connector style between the vans.

Worse case scenario is that you would have to go to autozone or whatnot and buy an adapter plug. Everything else would be a normal install.
