Would anyone have a schematic for the overhead console on this year van (or similar). I installed an overhead DVD player and want to wire up the dome lights and IO need and accessory wire for the DVD player power that turns on with the key in acc or run. Thanks.
I have posted this in three topics. Thx......

Hi,
You might want to install a fresh cable up to the center console to run the DVD player, I don't know your DVD player ampage but I'll bet its higher than the dome light usage. If you drop the console down by undoing the four 10mm bolts, using a long welding rod you can hook a new cable across from the drivers side roof lining, just undo the torques screw in the side trim just above where the drivers left ear would be so you can feed the wire across then you can feed the wire down under the plastic screen trim, just pull out the rubber door seal to make a neat job of it, all you have to do then is to find a feed from the electrical panel close to where the parking brake pedal is, I'd run it as un switched as you could keep the kids/friends happy without having to leave the key in the car! Don't forget to put a fuse in the line though! The above is what I did to my '94' Tin Top Astro, your van interior may not be the same.
Hope this may help
Cheers
Geoff
