So I'm cheap but you guys knew that already...
I ordered subframe poly bushings from Amazon warehouse.
$32 but they showed up as 4.5 bushings, not 6
returned and bought new
$52 good price, been watching these for a while.....

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003AVR8FQ/

Just looked and now they're $65 with a 2 month wait. Gotta love Amazon!

and I just happened to look at RockAuto and they had front shocks for $9 each. I'm in.

$34 for the fuel pump assy
SPECTRA PREMIUM SP61065M

the best part of owning 20 year old cars is cheap parts, $59 radiators, $2 fuel filters, etc.

Personally I would probably take a PASS on most $9 shocks. But, with the Gabriel name on them, I might consider them for a light duty use.

AGREED... chancing short-lived or poor ride performance may not be worth saving a few bucks.
Gabrial was always "budget/economy" in my book.
But hopefully they will fit YOUR needs.
They'll probably be fine at first...

sheesh, you guys don't know how to play the cheap game.
If they work, I'm way ahead, if they suck I'm out 9 bux x2.

got the corvette servo, shift kit and aluminum pan, which is quite nice.....

The body lift is nice if not for just being able to get in around the motor much easier to fix stuff and to change plugs. Look for rust around the two front body mounts. Plus you will need longer bolts probably. It's easier/harder than it looks.

I don't like helper/shocks at all but it's a thing around here...Personally I like better leaf springs but they are a bear to change and helper shocks (effectively struts) make it easy to swap. The downside is, if you are going to do a real suspension lift, they might work still? It's all trial and error.

some love the motorcycle soccer mom variant transfer case. I killed two of them and finally got a mechanical borg warner out of an older van and never looked back. I will probably either set my van on fire...but if I don't, I will go manual. I can always lock it in..and driving it in 4wd on wet pavement isn't the end of the world.

I'm aware of your position regarding NP136. Basically I agree but haven't found a donor for a BW and it's driveshafts for me yet.

If I need more distance for the lift with shocks, I can do the Lumpy mod, but most people say it's not needed.

I already have a 233 if needed.

You weren't called out. On Fords the electric lock motor is the same way, you gotta bridge a current limiter once they quit having enough power to stroke the lock.
IOW, BTDT ...
No - did not think of it, cool - what the heck are those inits? ( too lazy to g00gull )

I was reminded by mgmt. that I was being a little too, let's say, "Bannably Brisk" in a post. ( Bannably is not a true word - so I had trouble spelling it ). If it were a word, I think that is how it would go.

To be perfectly honest - It was not meant "mean" as opposed to polar opposites - he's working, he's in charge, he can breathe, he knows our subject, he has me in his antagonistic palm...

sorry, dc, I was bummed.

ahhh, Saturday morning gold!
Torsen inbound!
Pleasingly cheap, under $200 delivered

There are several diffs on ebay right now, several gov lockers, an auburn and a couple of other Torsens.
Beware the one with 2.xx series gears. It needs a spacer to use with 3.xx series gears. IOW, you don't want it.

I've got a source that always has Torsens but they run about 260. Lemme know if you want the reference.

I got my longer PS pressure hose for the lift. I may not need it immediately, but better to have and not need, etc....
I ordered two by mistake. Shout if you want to buy the extra, cheap.

I had already decided against headers, for many reasons, but mostly availability.
I could not justify $200 for a set of pacesetter headers that I wasn't perfectly sure would fit.
I wanted a set of ceramic coated like the Ford Motorsport headers I had on my 5.0L Mustang.
Not having a definite part that was guaranteed to fit, I gave up.

Then these came along and are now mine!
