I wouldn't call that a rebuild manual.
Had the same thought myself when I downloaded 150mb manual that called it such. Wasn't simple enough with color code illustrations for me to use but just maybe someone else with a higher IQ and advanced mechanical skills could relate to it easier. Otherwise if its burning up resources, one can do that too.

It's a handy parts breakdown schematic anyway

I wish I would have had this 10 years ago, last time I rebuilt a 700R4. It worked, for about 1500 miles. I wound up scrapping a car I loved because I had too many irons in too many fires. I think I may have installed something backward, I never tore it down it see what went wrong. I saved a copy, it's a handy reference!

Well I'm happy someone can interpret and use this information and make use of it. If anyone needs any other transmission info give me PM or message I have the full edition of ASTG Trans. Manual on file for most mfg. makes and models offered.

Hey rev_les, I don't have any info on a A-727. Is this for a real model # ?
My reasoning for asking is my resources have every other GM tranny listed, but no mention of A727.

Big Kid, do you want THM350 and power glide?

a 727 is an auto mopar trans. usually behind cars and light duty trucks. compared to the th350. there is a larger one for heavy duty but the number escapes me. that one compares to the th400.

on a different note can your guy let you post for the 4l65 2wd and 4wd. i will be swapping tail shafts from one to another and need the blow ups. i know its close to the 4l60 but a considerable amount of parts are different in the front half
thanks

actually the 904 is the lighter duty...the 727 is the bad boy. I have one in an Avco 32' motor home on a Dodge M600 chassis. It's a 16,500 pound beast. Thanks Leeann!!!!!

You're welcome ;)

There are several versions of the 727. One is for regular duty, for pickups and cars. That's the TorqueFlite. There's a heavier-duty version that is for medium-duty chassis, like delivery trucks and RVs. That's the LoadFlite.

The LoadFlite is what Rev_Les has in his Avco and what I have in my 1973 Concord, 20' Class A, on a Dodge RM350 chassis (440 with 727).

Rebuilding a 727 is about as easy as it gets - and this is from someone who views the automatic tranny as voodoo!
