I am in need of a piece of modling to put in front of the mirror assembly on the Passenger side of my 91 Astro. I have never known where to get this part so any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

This is not my van, but I have circled the same part on the Driver's side.

Honestly i'd say hit up your local(or nearby) U-Pull-It place(or junkyard). It is amazing the things you will find at these!!!! I find so much stuff at these places it's unreal!! And i'm sure that 89' thru 93' should fit. Please don't quote me on that though.(LOL!!) Maybe even 94'-95'. Just got to keep a keen eye out!! These parts are floating all around. I will spend a whole day(8a.m.-5p.m.)looking at all the vans(Astro and Safari's). You'd be surprised at the stuff you will find!! It is a Goldmine out there!! You just got to be willing to take the time!! Good luck and God's speed!!!!

I was in a yard last weekend, just playing around. Decided to remove everything around the windshield to see how hard they are to pull out. That trim piece is only held on with two screws. Tossed it in the back of the van. If you can't find one locally, I can send you one.

tnx but the salvage nearby happened to have one more Astro hidden in the depths of its jungle. just waiting for the paint 2 dry now, can't wait to fix this as it has been broken for years.

OK, good thing I didn't pay anything for them. I'll just store them, maybe someone else will need them someday.
