I want to sawp a 94 interior dash and all into my 85 shorty.what is all involved? anything custom?

I know the 85 is analog and I think the 94 is too ! when people say digital is it digital number's?

The digital dash will look like a blank black panel with the key off - everything on it is digital.

Why only question about this is what years did the astro/safari use a speedo cable for the speedometer? My 89 doesn't have a speedo cable but I do know that some years had them.

I hope you like wiring. I find it fruterating. I own an 87, and also a 95.
These both are equiped with the same dashes your talking about here.
yeah, i guess they are both analog, but The dash in the 94 is a lot differrent.
So is the fusebox and all the interfaces with the ECM and other systems like anti lock braking fuel pumping and so on....
Have a blast figuring all that out my friend. you can see the different wiring diagrams in a haynes manual.
I will leave it at that.
PS my 87 has a mechanical speedo drive. My 95 doesnt.
