Could also be the damper/pulsator in the tank leaking. That would cause it not to hold pressure.
Could that cause it not to start?
Yes. If the pulsator is leaking, the pump can't provide enough pressure to the injector to fire the poppet valves.

But if one spider has a crack and the other leaks on top, fix that first.

The original spider as leaking all over so I would guess that it can hold enough pressure but your right I got some more parts to get lol

Maybe I can file for a labor claim or something but I wouldn't hold my breath on that...... Maybe.....

Okay, I got a new CPI and this time let me tell you what!!
First this I noticed that fuel supply lines went in super easy... I had to fight to get them in the other 2 spiders.
No rust or worn-out looking part this time.

No leaks when I turned the key. The pressure did fall a bit but nothing crazy I would say..... went down to 50 after 10 min and stayed about there.
The top intake bolt.... I don't know but it did want to go in, it feels like it caught on something so I left it out for now.

Turned the key and they started on the first try. She lives again.

Boom!!!

She starts and runs 100%

Took her down the road and gunned it and she spun the tires. I'm so relieved that's she doing better now.
At this point, I am just waiting for a Dorman Hood release cable to come in ups so I can close my hood properly.

On to the Next Project

AC system is working perfectly and the ignition is new, plus the ignition. I know ill have to replace the fuel pump in the future. Thats a future plan for sure.
The radio is new and working.

The Passenger front needs a window regulator and the door lock actuators need to be replaced. So I do have a few more things to replace but I'm sure there will always be something to work on.
Hopefully, I hit the lottery or my stocks skyrocket or my crypto jumps again lol

Who the Hell Knows whats coming up this 2021

Thank you guys for your advice and pointers. I'll continue to post more stuff on the van has it comes up.

The van is running is good but 1 thins I have noticed now.......

The van turned off on me twice, Once while I was slowing down to make a turn and the second was when I was sitting a drive-thru grabbing something to eat.
Didn't idle hard or anything. Didn't feel a misfire or anything strange but it just cut off. I replaced the TPS just in case but it still turned off when I was in the drive-thru.

I already replaced the IAC with a new one from Delco but I have a feeling it might not be right.

So I replace the TPS and nothing. It turned on me when I was slowing down again.
It's cold right now but I was driving the van for about 30 min already before it decided to turn off.
I open the dist and replace the ign module, Replaced the Autozone one, and put in a Delco one inside.
I also replaced 3 spark plus wires on the passenger side. Looking at the spark plugs looks like I might need to replace them also.
No misfire but once in a while I can see the engine idle low and the rev up to catch its self.

Looks like the Fuel Pump Relay is going bad.
Van cut off on me at 711 parking and it would not start. I banged on the pump to start and nothing. Couldn't hear any noise coming from the tank so I swap the relays at the firewall and it started right up. So my guess it's going bad which would explain it acting up the way it was. Put a Standard SMP DY282 this time so hopefully, it stays working.
